Choir

St. Matthew's Choir sings each Sunday at the 10:15 am liturgy.  The choir supports the congregation in their sung prayer.  The choir also enhances the service by singing choral anthems, solos, and other special  music. 

The majority of the hymns are taken from the Episcopal Hymnal 1982 and from a variety of other sources.

Membership is open to all members of the parish, high school age and older. 

Instrumentalists

We are always looking for new instrumental players.  If you play a musical instrument and would like to join us, please contact John Reilly.

Recorder Group

The recorder class meets weekly on Thursdays at 5 pm in church from September until May.  In this group, students learn the fundamentals of music, how to play the recorder, and ensemble performance.  This group will play occasionally for the 10:15 am liturgy.  This group is open to second graders thru adults. 

Young Singers

This group meets at 10:00 on Sunday mornings with Mr. Ken to learn new music to be sung as part of the youth liturgy on Family Sunday, held the fourth Sunday of each month.
