We take education seriously at St. Matthew’s; therefore, we make a point to offer a wide variety of classes throughout the year.
Men at 6:15 – A Book Study & Reflection Group. Open to men and meets at 6:15 a.m. on Monday mornings during the school year in the Parish Hall. This group typically reads and discusses a book which has a theological and/or spiritual flare to it.
Spiritual Formation – Open to anyone and meets on Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. during the school year. This group opens its gatherings in quiet reflection and then has a book discussion always exploring the spiritual dimensions of our lives.
Thursday Bible Study – Open to anyone, childcare is provided, and meets at 9:00 a.m. throughout the year. This group chooses a book of the Bible and explores it from a “rubber meets the road” type of perspective. This is not an academic study, but a practical life-intersecting approach.
Sunday Morning and Evening Lenten Series – The 2015 Lenten Series is titled “The Crucified Life.” We will spend time each week thinking about and talking about the end of Jesus’ life and how the words he said intersect our daily lives now.
