This ministry is the backbone of our parish. We have always prided ourselves with giving to people in need. Over the years we have tried very hard to support our parishioners in whatever ministry they serve. We serve in Kairos Prison Ministry and have been assisted with prayers, cookies, and cash. We’ve helped Beta House with baby food and diapers. We support Harbor House in many ways, including hosting cookouts for the residents. The Russell Home for Atypical Children has also been assisted with food, sponsored parties and volunteers. We’ve work with various food pantries through food drives and cash. We have also support the Christian Services Center, Salvation Army, Orlando Rescue Mission and Compassion Corner in numerous way. I-dignity and Family Promise are regular recipients of our volunteers, financial gifts and in-kind support. We’ve sponsored a child at El Hogar Farm for Boys in Honduras.  We will have a Relay for Life team

We can proudly say that in our diocese we are one of the most giving parishes, because we realize the needs of others and respond to them. Our goal is to give away 10% of our income and we proudly exceed this goal through direct financial gifts, indirect financial gifts and material goods. This is in addition to the volunteer hours we serve and the food pantries we stock.

The Outreach Committee is open to anyone who is interested, and if you serve in a ministry outside of the church and would like us to help support you in your ministry please come and join us in our next meeting.

We take seriously Matthew 25:35-36, 40: “ For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”
